Midterm Craze

Few hours from now is Midterm Exam, and I seem to find every minute as a perfect time to catch up with unfinished task. Or I end up browsing the net for some video that I can use for our church wedding. Sigh. The art of cramming. *laugh.

Here is a new fave song of mine with lyrics. (actually, this song should be posted on my other blog where I keep songs and videos together but I am too lazy to open wordpress). Here goes:

Love Paradise

(By Kelly Chen)

You're always on my mind
All day just all the time
You're everything to me
Brightest star to let me see
You touch me in my dreams
We kiss in every scene
I pray to be with you through rain and shiny days

I'll love you till I die
Deep as sea
Wide as sky
The beauty of our love paints rainbows
Everywhere we go
Need you all my life
You're my hope
You're my pride
In your arms I find my heaven
In your eyes my sea and sky
May life be our love paradise

You're always on my mind
All day just all the time
You're everything to me
Brightest star to let me see
You touch me in my dreams
We kiss in every scene
I pray to be with you through rain and shiny days

I'll love you till I die
Deep as sea
Wide as sky
The beauty of our love paints rainbows
Everywhere we go
Need you all my life
You're my hope
You're my pride
In your arms I find my heaven
In your eyes my sea and sky
May life be our love paradise

Lovers' Concerto

Birds high up on the trees
Serenade the clouds with their melody

How gentle is the rain
That falls softly on the meadow
Birds high up on the trees
Serenade the clouds with their melody

Oh! See there beyond the hill
The bright colours of the rainbow
Some magic from above
Made this day for us, just to fall in love

You'll hold me in your arms
And say once again you'll love me
And that your love
is true
Everything will be just as wonderful

Now, I belong to you
From this day until forever
Just love me tenderly
And I'll give to you every part of me

Oh! Don't ever make me cry
Through long lonely nights without us
Be always true to me
Keep this day in your heart eternally

You hold me in your arms
And say once again you love me
And that your love
is true
Everything will be just as wonderful

I'll be back to blogging ,if not tonight probably on Saturday night. There are a bunch of overdue photos that needs to be put up.

Below is a desk calendar from my day job boss, ain't it very sweet of him? (The calendar have a schedule of a certain organization that I can dovetail with my plans for the Program I am managing, lol)

Having a great Friday, are you?

Online Photo Lessons

With blogging in mind, I can not drop from my list of "to buy" the point and shoot digital camera. Although a phone camera is okay for unexpected photo opportunity, a digital camera is way better than my phone camera. And I am a sucker for online lessons to. Just imagine how glad I was when I found this compilation of Photo lessons here.

I am back to blogging. ;) Still working on my craft projects. By the way, we were able to install new shelves on our room. I find it more organized than before and my books are probably happy to be sitting on a more organized place than being stacked on foldable crates, sitting on my floor. Will post picture tonight, hopefully. :D

Another Goal

I am trying to come up with a big goal by doing small goals at a time. And since finishing goals bring laughter to our hearts, I will include this activity on this blog as well: savings. The terms that I have is to keep at least 10% of my salary (I receive mine every two weeks). So starting today, I will keep an update on how much I have been spending and saving. I checked my account today and found that the 10% of what I received is 600, so I will stash it now for the record. sigh.

Hope I can save more. :) I will try to come up with some moneymaking activities so that I can add more to our savings. There are lots of things that I have in mind lately, some material things that definitely needs money. So I am starting to raise funds for those too (things that I need for the new house) since I want to be debt-free while paying the home building expenses/loan. tonight, I will come up with a list of the things for the house and a scheme on how to raise the money to buy them. ;)

I am starting my morning ritual (exercise and meditation) and hope to improve on my stamina. A nasty bout of flu has been keeping me slow lately specially last year so I have to come up with a solution on that health department.

THANK YOUs

It's in the middle of January and I am not done yet with the prep for the start of the year. Literally.

Work wise, we were able to pull off the biggest project that was postponed last year.

Hurray!

Then, we are finally, official home makers. Start of a very challenging task ahead for first time home makers like me. I have a ZERO idea on house building. I am counting on my Uncle to do most of the job for me (ehem, to guide me at least).

Compre Exam and special paper is next term and my books are still sleeping on that corner that I claimed mine. Someone touched slashed re-organized it while dusting the room and now I am in a total chaos. I gets territorial at times specially on claimed spaces which happens to be my "study area". :( I am giving myself one week to start working on my paper and study schedule

I will be working around, moving from one school to another to promote the Program that I am managing (although it seems that someone will be taking over the managing portion soon) so I really have a long year ahead of me with too many discussions with Research Directors (plans, plans. i need output on this one).

My family time is badly managed. I am planning a 7am - 4pm job so I will be running home early: to have plenty of time to study and bonding time with my loved ones. I am keeping up with the 4pm thing so far.

Exercise slash yoga is not on my list but with the 4pm-bound-home schedule that I have schemed, I can squeeze that one in. I just have to heal my body first from the last week's stress and bad cough.

To all those who provided help one way or another on our exhibit and forum last week, THANK YOU.

Up and ABout

I have been sick since the 29th of December. Been suffering from a bout of nasty flu and way way behind my readings and blogging.

But we finally able to pull it off, the entire exhibit thing. Of course there are major headaches and heartaches on my part and my great staff slash buddy T but we are glad it was over and within our expectations. I will upload the photos once I get my hands on them.

I am trying to get some sleep as I type this entry, sipping cold milk. Hope to recover by tomorrow because I am hoping to organize the room. Our room is a mess with clothes, paper, wii cd games and phones everywhere. I have another appointment for a massage tomorrow, hope it will relieve some of my back pains.

Have a great weekend people.

Have sunshine and love guys!

2010 Make Happen

On my friendster blog I have written about resolutions that I wrote before 2009 concluded (around November). But with vacation, celebration and lots of bonding with my lovely family it is no longer resolutions but goals. So this year I have few goals to achieve (quiet different from the resolution I have mentioned):

1. Be more productive (work and school - finish school this 2010)
2. Blog at least five times a week (once a day, perhaps)
3. Do some crafting (scrapbook or any other art related activities)
4. Set program on Wii sports and reduce weight
5. cook and bake more..or yet, prepare foods for him. :D
6. Save at least 10% of the salary (mine and his.)
7. Become a first time home owner
8. Be closer to God
9. Smile more
10. Go out with the girls at least once a month.

****

Nuff about MY goals. My batt died so there is no photos of the scrapbook materials I received this christmas. For now. I will be posting some photos once I get out from sitting here.

Here's a round up of some great blogs with many craft ideas (I also joined Ravelry, a knit and crochet society):

1. For free knit patterns to download: Free Knit Patterns
2. Knit and Crochet lovers, Ravelry
3. Craft tutorials and workshop online (it's free): Trish Bee
4. Close up photo of various crafts and design inspirations : Design Shimmer
5. and of course, bento! (I wonder if it's possible to squeeze in some bento making on my friday night? hmmm..)
